Different Celebrity Mom Styles of Being

It’s so interesting to see the different “accepted” celebrity mom “selves” to wear in the world.

Today, reports from Us Magazine show us two current celebrity mom “styles.”

There’s the been-there-done-that and just-like-normal-moms self that Charlize Theron is rocking when she says "A lot of people have sent me these children's books, and there's this amazing book, a best-seller called Go the F-ck to Sleep," she said. "This book was good for me because it made me realize that I don't need to judge myself right now."

Yes, even Theron knows the anguish of trying to get a crying baby to sleep.

Switching mommy styles, we see the always lovable and sparkly I’m-going-to-make-this-baby-girl-a-princess stance.

Kourtney Kardashian’s baby shower was a sea of pink—we’re talking flamingos and cotton candy pink!

And trying to define the baby girl before she’s even born is sister Khloe: "I have bought Kourt's daughter so many tutus. All I want to do is dip my niece in glitter and put a tutu on her!"

With an aunt like that, how could things go wrong?

The Kardashians Read, Y'All!

Just in case you didn’t know, Kourtney Kardashian loves to read with her son. They read. It’s so important. Reading. It’s so big in their family. Reading. That’s what the Kardashians are all about. Oh, did I mention reading? How important it is?

I’m sorry, let me let Kourtney explain it as reported by Celebrity Baby Scoop: "I read books to Mason all day long. Usually when he wakes in the morning, he loves to read a book. In the middle of the day he reads books. We read books at night. So, reading is a huge thing in our family."

And in case you didn’t quite get how important reading is to your child, here are Kourtney’s astounding words of wisdom for YOU!

"It's a great time that we have together. Definitely read to your children and cherish the time that you have. We love to be together and reading is such a big part of that."

Brilliant Photo Op or Real Life?

This photograph on Perezitos of Kourtney Kardashian and her two-year-old son Mason having a temper tantrum gave me pause.

For a brief shining moment I felt kinship with Kourtney. I felt like I understood her. I felt her pain. I cringed along with her as her son broke down into uncontrollable, unexplainable hollers and yells.

Yes, I too have a toddler who for absolutely no reason at all will sometimes just decide it is time to scream with wild abandon. The lucky thing for me is that I have no paparazzi waiting outside the restaurant I am dining in to snap a photo of aforementioned meltdown.

This, is definitely not a photo op.

Or, wait a minute…unless it’s all part of her master plan! Show that she’s just like all those other moms! Her child has temper tantrums too! She’s just like me!

It’s brilliant!

Kourtney Kardashian's Mommy Lesson!

Oh my goodness, all you moms out there! Perezito’s has a link to the most awesome mommy vlog like, ever! You must rush on over and view Kourtney Kardashian's lesson in making baby food.

It’s like, soo instructive. Like where she explains how to tell if a fruit is organic—there are actually little stickers on the fruit! And, now look close, yes—it says “organic”!

Wow, thanks, Kourtney!

And then, you like, you know, put the fruit or vegetable in this little machine that, you know, steams it for you. And now here’s the tricky part: take the steamed fruit and put it in the other side, which will puree it for you.

Amazing! Homemade baby food!

Wow! I can’t wait for her next gem of instruction!

Kardashian Baby? Baby Anyone?

Media Takeout reports that they heard from an “E! television insider” that Kourtney Kardashian “May GIVE HER BABY To Her Sister Khloe . . . In A New REALITY SHOW!!”

I guess Khloe has had fertility problems and some genius thought what a great premise for ANOTHER Kardashian reality show. Because, like, three, or is it four, isn’t enough.

I’m feeling a bit skeptical about this rumor, but at the same time I kind of feel like why wouldn’t that happen to this family and on television for all to witness.

Congratulations, Kourtney Kardashian

Thanks Too Fab for the announcement of another bun in the oven for Kourtney Kardashian.

Perhaps this timing will help take the spotlight off of other Kardashians in the news of late.

Hopefully, this new baby will be a kick in the pants for Scott Disick on what he needs to step up to be as a father…or if not, a wakeup call for Kourtney.

Kardashian Kraziness!

The continuing and continuing story seems to be the demise of Kim Kardashian’s marriage, but what stands out to me is the story in the shadows—Kourtney Kardashian and the train wreck of a relationship she’s in.

She has a son with Scott Disick who continually proves to be a jerk, which might seem normal for a Kardashian relationship, but this relationship just grinds on.

I say “Suck It!” to Scott Disick on this one for always putting himself before his child. And I guess I’d like to say, “Stand Up For Yourself!” to Kourtney. Your son is watching and learning how to be a man and how to treat women from your example.
