I was quite horrified when I saw the photo of
Patricia Krentcil’s severely tanned visage yesterday. She is the woman who
allegedly brought her five-year-old fair-skinned daughter into a tanning bed.
What worries me the most is that instead of showing
concern for this woman who clearly has some issues, people are simply jumping
on the bandwagon of calling her all kinds of names.
Don’t get me wrong. IF she took her daughter into a
tanning bed, yes, that is not good.
I think Snooki sums it up well, "That b***h is
crazy, you are not supposed to take kids there. Everyone knows you are NOT
supposed to take kids there."
But there is this other issue that really needs to
be addressed. This 44-year-old woman believes she needs to excessively tan to
look good. And from her photo we can see what the results have been. Is there
anyone in her family or friends who has sat her down and tried to reason with
her? Are we supposed to turn a blind eye to this woman harming herself?
